Delicious!!! We recently went to the outdoor pool and we liked it very much! The Schäufele had a really nice crust, just as it should be! ? Unfortunately I have had different experiences elsewhere. So great, we'll definitely be back!

Rustic location currently with a reduced food offer due to Corona, but a freshness and quality in the execution that is second to none. Dedicated service staff and an appropriate selection of drinks made the evening entertaining. The only downer is the sanitary facilities due to their size. Nevertheless, or even more so, we will stop by the old forester's house on our next visit to Fürth.

The "old forester's house" was recommended to us by friends ... so we recommend it to others! Very, very beautiful garden with a great view of the green, the wooden terrace catapulted us from the atmosphere back to the skiing holiday - so no matter whether the weather is good or bad - there is something for everyone ? It's worth trying! Ps: the food was delicious and the service was very warm!

I don't understand where these good reviews come from. We were eating there with family and friends. The food is not of good quality. The schnitzel are not freshly made, they are schnitzel where you can get frozen in every discounter - an absolute cheek to offer something like that to the guests. Regardless of whether you order Wienerschnitzel or Handchnitzel schnitzel, everything is the same. The potato salad is full of mustard you can't taste potatoes anymore. The only positive thing is that the dumplings are good, the dumplings are more like rubber dumplings. The location is nice but that's it. Waiter overwhelmed. Unfortunately, this restaurant cannot be recommended.

Very good food in a cozy atmosphere is always happy to come back

We were there for the first time on Sunday and were very satisfied. We were greeted very courteously and were given a nice table in the interior (which is very cozy and inviting). The waiter was very polite and nothing on our part remained unfulfilled. We were thrilled that you are really treated here as a guest of the house. You are greeted with a welcome drink and an amuse gueule is served. We had beef sirloin for the main course and it was spot on and delicious. The red wine served with it was perfectly matched to the food! We would like to emphasize once again the service, which did not have an easy day but always gave every guest their attention. At the same time there was a party on the terrace with guests who were more concerned about their drinks than looking after their children. The children (approx. 10 in number) were absolutely wild and took everything apart word / literally. No matter whether in the dining room or outdoors. An absolute imposition for the restaurateur to look after such guests and no understanding for the parents who did not intervene in any situation. Despite this extreme situation for the service, he was absolutely professional and courteous. This deserves our respect and made us want to mention this page too! We will definitely visit this beautiful place to eat more often and wish the operator that he is spared from such companies in the future.

Nice location, nice staff, were invited to a wedding there, food was great, only relatively little was asked for drinks during the meal (starter / main / dessert) Staff / and boss did their best to fulfill all requests for the purpose of show performances, space regulations etc. It was a great party ??

The Food was really simple, it was not so good, nothing special. Only the place is worthwhile.

They have a beautful beergarden, where one can further relax after eating. The food was very tasty and homemade.

Many thanks to the whole team that there is such a well-kept beer garden with modern influences! The ambience invites you to linger. The team has yet to get used to it. Very accommodating in complaints.

I have ordered half a carp to be picked up for Good Friday. What can I say they baked half a whale. Simply super tasty and a lot. Had to take a serving plate.
